If you feel that Baines Endowed VC School is the right school for both you and your child, then you need to complete the Admission form and send this to Lancashire.
The on-line admission system goes live on September 4th 2017 for the academic year 2018/19 and can be found here.
Please remember to press the ‘submit’ button EVERY TIME you leave the online system.
During this period, all applications are processed and all preferences considered. Where there are more applications than places available, decisions are made as to which children should be offered the available places. The Local Authority will liaise and exchange information with all other Admission Authorities including neighbouring Local Authorities. The allocation and offer of a primary school place is then finalised.
Important Dates for this year:-
Monday 16th April 2018 – Offers are made to parents.
Friday 27th April 2018 – Return of request or appeal forms or place on a reserve waiting list.
Week commencing 7th May 2018 – Distribution to parents of appeal forms.
Friday 18th May 2018 – Appeal deadline – first round of hearings.
By Friday 13th July 2018 – Appeals submitted by the deadline are heard by the Independent Appeals Panel.
